Basic Defensive Shotgun - 2 days
This course is designed for the person looking for the basic skills of combat style shotgun.
In this course you will learn:
- Marksmanship
- Safety
- Introduction to shotgun mounting
- Loading and unloading
- Ways of carry with a sling
- Shotgun equipment and accessories
- Patterning bird and buck shot to 25 yards
- Introduction to three shooting positions
- Shooting on the move
- Turning movements
- And probably more
Equipment required:
- Combat style shotgun (18" barrel recommend)
- Sling
- 250 rounds of "00" buck
- 100 rounds of slugs
- 25 rounds of bird shot
- Eye protection (dark & clear glasses)
- Ear protection
- Elbow & knee pads
- Sunscreen
- Jacket and/or rain gear
- Hat with visor
- Hydration Gear (Camelback, etc.) It gets very hot in the desert in the summer.
Cost $350.00. Deposit $175.00.
